Our mission

The AI tools market moves fast. New products launch every week with bold claims, and it's genuinely difficult to know what's worth your time and money. Riftgrind exists to cut through that noise with independent, methodical testing — not press releases, not sponsored rankings.

Editorial team

Riftgrind reviews are owned by the Riftgrind editorial desk, a Scandinavian review team focused on AI tooling, creator software, and consumer subscription products. Every recommendation is tied back to a documented test process, saved outputs, pricing checks, and repeat runs where the category requires them.

We keep editorial and commercial decisions separate. Affiliate partnerships can fund the work, but they do not decide which tools we test, where a product ranks, or whether a criticism stays in a review.

What we publish

We operate a network of three specialist review sites, each focused on a distinct AI category:

AiVidLab

16 tools

Reviews of AI video generators, voice synthesizers, and editing tools.

Editorial standards

Hands-on testing

Every tool is used and evaluated before we publish.

No pay-for-placement

Rankings are based on merit. Placement is never bought.

Regularly updated

We re-test and update reviews to keep recommendations current.

Transparent disclosures

Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every review.

How we test

For every tool, our editors sign up (often paying for the top tier), run a standard set of real-world tasks, and compare outputs against competing tools on the same prompts. We record pricing, export formats, usage limits, and edge-case failures. Reviews are re-tested whenever a product ships a major update and at least once every 90 days.

Affiliate disclosure

Riftgrind participates in affiliate programs. We may earn a commission if you click a link on our site and make a purchase. This comes at no extra cost to you and does not influence how we rank or review products. Our reviews are based solely on hands-on testing and editorial judgment. Read the full affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

If a review gets a factual detail wrong, we correct it and note meaningful changes in the review body or changelog. Pricing, model names, feature availability, and affiliate status are checked during re-tests, but vendors can change those details between updates. Readers and vendors can report corrections through the contact page.
